Locke's accomplishments
Locke made various contributions to the enlightenment. He made many contributions to education, theology, medicine, physics, economics, and politics. Locke was successful at creating "An Essay Concerning Human Understanding", "Two Treaties of Government", and "A Letter Concerning Toleration". John Locke was the founder of theory and knowledge. His contribution to the enlightenment mostly involved the inspiration of America today. Lockes ideas became the foundation of many political systems and gave millions of people freedom. He believed in humans natural rights and succeeded at making them known. John Locke influenced the declaration of independance.
The Declaration of Independence was written and thought of by John Locke. The Declaration of Independence was adopted August 2nd, 1776. The idea of the document was that all men are equal and should be treated that way. John Locke made a difference by producing this document and influenced the whole idea of equality. He believed in natural rights of people and believed that they deserve they should be given their rights. The declaration declared that people would be given their born rights just like Locke meant it to be.
